About the role
As a Fresh Production Team Member you'll work across the produce and fresh convenience zone, filling and preparing stock to the freshest standards, ready for the personal shoppers to pick for our customers!
The Woolworths Customer Fulfilment Centre has been purpose built to service our online customers. This new look format store provides greater benefits to our online customers through enhanced range and faster delivery.
This role best suits a candidate that enjoys working in a physically demanding and repetitive role. This role will require the successful applicants to lift up to 16 kgs repetitively throughout the duration of their shift. You may be required to handle red meat, poultry and seafood while completing your daily tasks.
As a part of creating a safe working environment, all candidates for this role can expect to undergo a pre-employment medical check as part of the recruitment process.
What you'll do
- Work with a diverse range of people in an industry facing rapid change, you’ll gain real-world experience and grow as a person
- Prepare, slice, and package meats, cheeses, and other deli items according to customer specifications and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli counter and surrounding work areas.
- Monitor product freshness and rotation.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and updating product displays.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products.
