What you’ll do


  • Coordinate Direct Rail Container fleet operations for store order pick-up/delivery and PC+ backloads, adhering to operational needs.
  • Accountable for container fleet tracking, encompassing perishable goods management, scheduled maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ensure timely container availability information is provided to the Load Planner and team for efficient planning and resource allocation.
  • Support the QLD Transport team with operational and administrative tasks, including TMS updates and KPI data generation.
  • Manage 'in-transit' Reefer monitoring and address any identified issues promptly.
  • Organise inspection, assessment, maintenance, and repairs of rail containers, including external repair coordination, and maintain damage records for ongoing asset review.


What you’ll bring


  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Understanding of transport operations and Delivery to Store processes
  • Demonstrated planning and problem-solving skills, time management, and independent and cooperative working
  • Knowledge of Google & Microsoft suites and SH&E matters, including COR regulations and codes of practice
  • Exposure to container operations, Primary Connect/Woolworths operations and FMCG/Distributions would be favourably considered
  • Availability to work 4 days on / 4 days off roster including weekends (5am - 5pm shifts)
