W23 Global: Shape the Future of Retail. W23 Global is a pioneering global innovation and venture capital fund, bringing together five of the world’s leading grocery retailers,  and seeking to invest in the world’s most innovative start-ups transforming retail and addressing key sustainability challenges.

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Strategy to join the W23 Global leadership team. 

This role plays a vital role in identifying transformative innovation trends, assessing their potential to accelerate retail strategies, distilling them into effective c-level communications, and driving W23 Global’s value creation program.

What you’ll do

This role is a critical role at W23 Global, working directly for the CEO & CIO to drive strategic outcomes.

• Innovation intelligence: Work closely with the W23 Global CEO & CIO to research and synthesize findings on global innovation trends with the potential to transform grocery retailing.

• Investment committee and c-level communications: Work closely with the W23 Global CEO & CIO to develop high quality C-level materials for the Investment Committee and senior stakeholders, including quarterly presentations and innovation immersions.

• Innovation and value creation program management: Work closely with the W23 Global CEO & CIO to drive W23 Global’s innovation and value creation programs.

• Strategic priorities & initiatives: Support the W23 Global CEO & CIO in executing W23 Global strategic priorities and initiatives.

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years Management Consulting at a top tier firm

• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential

• Extensive experience developing C-level materials

• Highly motivated, creative and resourceful with the ability to deal with ambiguity whilst maintaining an excellent attention to detail
