Welcome to Moorebank 

In November 2024 the Moorebank National Distribution Centre (NDC) officially opened in Sydney, NSW. The new state-of-the-art facility will service over 1,000 supermarkets nationwide with more than 12,000 product lines. With the capacity to move 2.3 million cartons each week, this is a 44,900 sqm facility - equivalent to almost three times the size of the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) - will strengthen Primary Connect’s national supply chain.

What you’ll do 

• Ensure all product groups are taught to match and align at all levels of the process for Load Forming Logic (LFL)  to create recommended pallets consistently.
• Lead, coach and mentor operations, creating a customer first culture that delivers great results 
• Support and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion in the workplace
• Adhere to, and enforce compliance with all legal obligations and requirements eg.enterprise agreements, Chain of Responsibility along with company policies and processes and DC Work Instructions 
• Reinforce and comply with Safety responsibilities 
• Build and promote a team environment focused on working collaboratively to achieve team and DC objectives
• Promote safety values and implement safety, health and environment policies and systems to embed safety into the culture and ways of working
• Together with the optimisation manager, identify strategic Improvements for Teach-In, to ensure operators can achieve the desired results within the station and have the ability to implement a well-informed flow on the automation.

What you’ll bring

• Operational experience working in Supply Chain or manufacturing environments 
• Demonstrated system experience
• Knowledge of warehouse operations process flow management
• High level of curiosity 
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form and maintain strong relationships internally and externally and engage with stakeholders 
• Strong analytical, planning and problem solving capabilities. 
• Strong time management and organisational skills, have the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines with little impact to our customers
