About the role

 

Our Store Services and Compliance Officers partner closely with the store leadership team to ensure compliance across a range of areas including payroll and food safety. As a Store Services Compliance Officer, you will support and enable store leaders to identify opportunities, rectify these quickly to ensure that all compliance requirements are met. 

 

Our teams identify this role as being critical to their first experience working at Woolies and is often the first point of contact for advice related to payroll; therefore communication skills and the ability to connect the team with the right support is essential. 

 

What you'll do

 

  • Foster an environment focused on delivering a great customer experience in store and online
  • Coach and support the store leadership team to maintain a safe and compliant store environment
  • Work with a diverse range of people in a fast paced, changing environment, you’ll gain real-world experience and grow as a person
  • Partner with the store leadership team to maintain a team first culture through recruitment, training and payroll

  • Make safety a top priority for team and customers by ensuring correct processes are followed in store
  • A strong desire to learn the about the day to day running of a supermarket in order to provide great support to the store team on a day to day basis

  • A focus on developing awareness of your own leadership style and desire to grow into a future leader
  • An appreciation of the value working across stores brings to enable a positive shopping experience for our customers
