What you’ll do

In the Service Operations Specialist - Enterprise you will provide IT Infrastructure and support ensuring IT service availability and the reliability of Woolworths Group Systems. You will also collaborate with our internal and external IT support teams on incident, problem, change and availability management to drive operational efficiencies and reliability of IT services in the Enterprise, Replenishment, People, SOI and International Domains.

As a Service Operations Specialist - Enterprise you’ll be working on projects, ensuring new technologies and changes to IT systems are effectively transitioned into the production environment, while proactively identifying and driving a continuous improvement culture to ensure we are maintaining exceptional customer service

Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • IT Infrastructure, support, problem management and maintenance of IT services in Enterprise, Replenishment, People & SOI Domains.

  • Manage communications and acts as escalation point for high impacting incidents to the Service Delivery Manager to provide status updates, resolve issues, and manage expectations.

  • Support Batch Operations for the Woolworths Group, 24x7 operations of all system batch streams within the Automic environment.

  • Liaise with key internal and external service provider teams to deliver services to meet business demand.

  • Own the Operation Stability of the assigned portfolio of IT services through Change and Release management.

  • On call responsibilities: Rostered on call support per rotational basis.


What you’ll bring

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in operations of Support including enterprise Batch Automation.

  • Exposure and working knowledge of IT Service Operations (eg. ITIL).

  • A strong track record in IT Service Delivery and Support, good understanding of IT Solution Architecture, experience with Replenishment/ERP solutions and Batch Automation Tools (Broadcom Automic experience highly desirable).

  • Experience in project life cycle and transitioning to BAU.

  • A solid skill set in the following: customer relationships, stakeholder management, problem solving, issue resolution, business acumen, negotiation and influencing, paired up with effective communication.
