What you’ll do
The Senior Designer, Promotional Channels, leads design best practice for BIG W's email and catalogue promotions. Managing an international design team, this role ensures high design standards and efficient workflows. Collaboration with various internal stakeholders is key to aligning design with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
Design Leadership: Establishes design best practices, innovates for email and catalogue channels, and ensures impactful customer experiences.
Team Management: Manages and mentors the Manila-based design team, fostering collaboration and high-quality output.
Project Management: Oversees design project workflow, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Works with cross-functional teams to align design with BIG W brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Design Expertise: Applies leading-edge design skills and software proficiency to create engaging and accessible promotional materials.
What you’ll bring
Extensive Design Experience: 4+ years as a Senior Designer, ideally in retail/e-commerce, focused on email and catalogue design.
International Team Leadership: Proven experience managing and motivating international design teams, including remote team collaboration.
Project Management Prowess: Exceptional time management and project traffic management skills, handling multiple projects and tight deadlines.
Design Expertise: Demonstrated leading-edge design skills and strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and user-centered design, proficient in industry-standard software.
Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience in matrix organisations, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and presenting design concepts effectively.
