What you’ll do


As a Senior Delivery Lead, you will be a driving force in ensuring the successful and timely delivery of complex technology projects and programs that are critical to Woolworths' strategic goals. Reporting to Head of Technology you will leverage your extensive experience, leadership skills, and deep understanding of project management methodologies to guide cross-functional teams, navigate complex challenges, and deliver high-quality outcomes that drive business value.


  • Strategic Project Planning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Proactive Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues with robust contingency plans to ensure project success.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment on project goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement by optimising processes, sharing best practices, and enhancing delivery capabilities.


What You’ll Bring


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a project management or delivery-focused role, ideally within a technology or retail environment, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools is highly desirable.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certifications are a plus.
