What you’ll do


  • Lead the strategic activation and execute brand and eCom campaigns across the Woolworths app and website

  • Define messaging matrices for campaigns, based on business objectives, stakeholder requirements and customer missions

  • Influence and inform experience design for digital campaigns based on customer behaviour, conversion rate optimisation, business priorities and market trends

  • Own the content marketing calendar, managing content distribution across owned, earned and paid channels in partnership with stakeholders

  • Lead long and short form content creation working with copywriters and AI

  • Enable content repackaging and campaign repurposing through content lifecycle management in line with business priorities

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers and content managers to influence experience improvements, migrations and new rollouts

  • Establish SMART goals for campaigns and content initiatives to ensure desired outcomes

  • Collaborate closely with SEO Lead to identify and action optimisation opportunities and plans


What you’ll bring


Along with a proactive, adaptable, and experimental test and learn mindset we are looking for the following:

  • 5+ years experience in content strategy, content marketing or content production

  • E-commerce, CRM and digital merchandising experience is desirable

  • A knowledge of digital storytelling trends 

  • Ability to research, interpret and selectively apply audience insights, research and data including web traffic metrics

  • Ability to identify opportunities for more effective content distribution through regular reporting

  • Customer-obsessed with a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences

  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with sponsored content or branded content would be advantageous
