Welcome to the Digital Media Team


As a Search Media Specialist, you will be passionate about how search marketing can deliver tangible results for a large business like Woolworths. You will enjoy working with clients from various levels and different areas of the business, and relish getting stuck into their business challenges so you can find innovative ways to solve them. 

 

Working with the Search Media Lead and the broader ConnectedX business you will help develop campaigns and initiatives which drive product and category growth, as well as overall customer value. 


What you’ll do


We are looking for an innovative Search Marketer who loves to push the boundaries on what search can do for a business, and thrives working in a progressive business unit of a market leading company supporting end to end management marketing plan execution across social channels.

  • Drive channel growth through SEM to drive incremental revenue and achieve strategic business outcomes across multiple business units. 

  • Utilise Products Up & group first party data to deliver best in class efficiencies to multiple feeds within GMC. 

  • Investigate new ways to integrate product and stock data from multiple sources across Woolworths tech stack, to ensure customers see the correct stocked/priced item in ads. 

  • Develop trusted relationships within squad, cross squad, cross tribe and with external stakeholders. 

  • Prepare, present and manage timelines & budgets, with constant monitoring of key dates and budget control.

  • Utilise tools such as Excel, Big Query and Looker Studio to drive automation of performance insights


What you’ll bring


You must be organised and efficient, and able to handle numerous clients with multiple campaigns across a broad range of brands and categories.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a hands on SEM role

  • Google Shopping & Google Merchant Centre Experience essential

  • Experience with bid management tools such as SA360, GA360 / GA4 and Adobe Analytics & Ad Servers such as Campaign Manager 360

  • Experience in keyword planning, forecasting & tagging solutions for measurement and audience building

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
