What you’ll do | Hei mahi
An opportunity as a Research Analyst to support the Government Relations and Industry Affairs (GRI&A) team has emerged for secondment until end September 2025. r The role will provide dedicated research, policy and data analytics support to the GR&IA team. This role will be responsible for the delivery of key research projects that form the basis of GR&IA’s advocacy strategy and support the coordination of key projects and events.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Review and input data from various sources to advance Woolworths’ policy advocacy interests.
Develop and maintain datasets in an accurate and timely manner; to strengthen Woolworths’ reputation with key stakeholders.
Instrumental in creating, reviewing and managing governance frameworks, including processes and procedures for stakeholder and engagement tracking;
Provide data support and produce engagement materials for internal stakeholders where needed; and
Support in the preparation and review of reports, submissions, presentations, and position papers.
What you’ll bring | Hei koha
You’ll bring in a strong experience in developing and maintaining CRMs and datasets.
Also, you’ll bring in:
Relevant qualification in research, economics, political science, statistics, or law.
Experience in a similar analytics or research role.
Proven ability to navigate complex situations, work well with a broad range of stakeholders and effectively collaborate, influence and deliver results.
Attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Self motivated, critical thinker that can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
An interest in the Australian political system.
