As a senior leader, you'll also collaborate across the Woolworths Group to enhance our broader B2B food strategy and drive innovation in a highly competitive market.
In addition to the above, you will:
Spearhead the development and execution of our B2B strategy, focusing on substantial sales growth, customer acquisition, and retention, all while maintaining profitability and fostering strong client partnerships.
Be responsible for building, mentoring, and leading a commercially astute sales team, fostering a customer-first culture and ensuring effective resource management.
Actively identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes, optimize range and pricing capabilities, and collaborate across the Woolworths Group to enhance our broader B2B food strategy in a competitive market.
What you'll bring
You're a seasoned leader with a proven track record of navigating and excelling within complex, matrixed organizations. You're proficient in leading large teams, effectively influencing and collaborating across diverse stakeholders, and possess a clear understanding of problem-solving methodologies. You balance b2b sales and profit adeptly, consistently driving continual improvement and achieving financial targets through large-scale commercial levers.
In addition, you will have:
Extensive experience leading teams, particularly within range and/or pricing functions, with a track record of managing large-scale deliverables, including leading teams of buyers, category, or merchandise managers.
A demonstrated ability to understand and influence at a senior level with engaging communication that fosters trust and collaboration across the organization.
Strong capabilities in strategic thinking, negotiation, and leveraging data analysis and insights to support decision-making, with experience operating in a leadership role within a large e-commerce business being highly desirable.
A comprehensive understanding of the digital FMCG landscape, including b2b sales, customer journeys, user experience (UX), and digital merchandising, ideally complemented by merchandise/buying experience managing complex, high-volume portfolios.
