About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

  • Ensure the provision of effective maintenance support to the DC through delivering a maintenance capability responsive to scheduled and unscheduled service and repair.
  • Manage site assets through effective asset management principles.
  • Lead site asset and equipment safety inline with safety in design, manufacturers and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish a replacement program for assets ensuring best value is obtained through total cost of ownership and risk management.
  • Ensure a preventative maintenance schedule is implemented and maintained for all assets on site which aligns with manufacturer’s guidelines, lease and legal obligations.
  • Manage maintenance contractors by acting as a point of contact, particularly regarding costs and standards of work.


About You | Mōu

  • Sound knowledge of general engineering and maintenance principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in facilities & maintenance management within Supply Chain 
  • End to end knowledge and use of BMS systems.
  • Understanding of building regulations and legislation covering both engineering and facilities/asset management.
  • Experienced in the use of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to effectively build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Planning, problem solving skills and ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
