What you’ll do

  • Review, investigate and provide timely insights on Business Unit P&L and associated balance sheet accounts

  • Perform reconciliations with a clear description of outstanding items, supporting documentation and an action plan for clearance

  • Ensure financial controls are in place and reviewed regularly to comply with accounting policies, standards 

  • Active participation in our Corporate Governance Program including testing key controls and reporting on deficiencies

  • Drive initiatives and strategies for continual improvement of processes and perform User Acceptance Testing for any changes to the System Environment


What you’ll bring

  • CA or CPA qualification, or working towards + 1 - 4 years relevant experience (retail/large corporate an advantage)

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables vlookups, macros) as well as an enthusiasm to learn new systems including SAP, GCP, BPC

  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience; strong presentation and storyboarding skills

  • Ability to synthesise large amounts of data from a variety of sources

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a lot of ambiguity and attend to shifting priorities
