We Are Woolworths Group


The Group Partnership team is responsible for oversight of key partnerships and their respective partnership agreements. Responsibilities include establishing partnership services as part of divestment and/or demerger related activities; partnership management and governance; and managing interdependencies across all Retail and Group platforms who participate directly and indirectly in the provision of partnership services. 


The initial focus of this role will be to ensure the successful transition of partnership services from Woolworths to Endeavour. 


What you’ll do


Reporting to the Head of Delivery - Group Partnerships, you'll be instrumental in facilitating and driving the establishment, management, and transition of Partnership Services. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and successful transition of services that underpin our divested partners' core operations, vital for their business continuity and preserving significant commercial value for our organisation.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Leading the transition of business services, with a primary focus on the Woolworths to Endeavour transition, while managing project milestones and budgets.
  • Navigating complex business interdependencies arising from major IT service transitions, including 'End to End Stores', 'Data Platforms & Visualisation', and 'Core Retail & Finance (ERP)'.
  • Ensuring the ongoing provision of critical Partnership Services aligns with agreed standards and processes.
  • Coordinating and leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration with business and technical stakeholders across both organisations.
  • Monitoring, tracking, and reporting on project and program deliverables, ensuring schedules, costs, and quality metrics are met.
  • Undertaking business process design and leveraging analysis techniques to deliver maximum value, while proactively identifying and resolving issues


What you’ll bring


  • Extensive experience as both a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager, with a proven track record across technical and business domains.
  • Demonstrated experience within IT functions and across diverse business functions, having delivered complex projects requiring significant cross-functional input.
  • Proven expertise in Mergers and Acquisitions Programs, including the development and transition of Transitional Service Agreements.
  • Experience with Operating Model, Business, and Digital Transformation Programs,
  • Experience leading large-scale User Acceptance Testing Programs focused on end-to-end business process testing.
