What you’ll do
Write compelling and customer-centric copy across a range of content types, including product features, banners, campaigns, articles and UI microcopy.
Edit and proof all copy for tone, clarity, grammar and consistency across the Woolworths digital ecosystem.
Maintain and evolve Woolworths’ digital tone of voice, adapting messaging for different audiences and placements.
Use generative AI tools to enhance content quality, speed and scale, writing strong prompts and guiding outputs.
Collaborate with designers, creatives and stakeholders to deliver clear, effective messaging within digital content placements.
Contribute to content strategy, bringing fresh ideas, identifying gaps, and making proactive recommendations for content opportunities.
Monitor content performance using available analytics and insights to iterate and optimise messaging.
Ensure all content is engaging, clear, accurate, accessible and consistent with brand and legal guidelines.
What you’ll bring
You’re a natural writer, thoughtful about the role of content in digital experiences and excited by how technology like AI can elevate your craft. You are organised, take pride in managing multiple deadlines without compromising quality, and always write with purpose and the audience in mind.
5+ years experience in content writing, editing or journalism, ideally within digital product, retail or eCommerce environments.
Exceptional written communication skills across short-form, long-form and microcopy formats.
Strong editing and proofreading skills, with a sharp eye for grammar, tone and consistency.
Experience maintaining and applying tone of voice guidelines across varied content types is beneficial.
Understanding of content strategy principles and customer-centric storytelling.
