The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Business Analyst - Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for our Food B2B team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the primary responsibility of the role oversees the WFCR cost management and AGW financial support, providing thought leadership and business insight to varying levels of management.
The role will work with all levels of management across FoodCo and Wholesale, and the broader Woolworths organisation. The role will partner with WFCR finance and management teams to understand results and contribute to analytical support, as well as support AGW with BAU reporting and analytics.
What you’ll do
Provide robust cost analysis to identify opportunities and risks in the WFC P&L
Management of Capital reporting and forecasting, as well as business case builds to support initiatives
Robust monthly analysis of the WFCR overheads. Understanding all key risks & opportunities and providing robust analytics to key cost centre owners on drivers of their results.
Support and analyse weekly, monthly and quarterly performance for AGW P&L
Support for the 3 year strategic planning and operating plan process, working closely with all finance teams to ensure corporate deadlines are met
Proactively rationalise reporting & ad hoc requests, through continuous improvement for WFCR & AGW
What you’ll bring
Solid 3-5 years of relevant experience along and either a CA/CPA Qualification essential
Strong commercial awareness, business acumen and business partnering skills
Strong communication ability and sound interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate complex financial information simply to a broad audience
Modelling skills to analyse / summarise high volumes of data from multiple sources
Strong business presentation and storyboarding skills
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
