With a culture of genuine care, a flexible approach to work and opportunities across the group to grow your career and make a meaningful impact, the possibilities for what we can achieve together are endless.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Digital Creative – a digital-first creative leader who’s ready to elevate the craft of content across the Woolworths app and website. This is a senior role responsible for transforming the future creative direction of digital assets that connect with customers in meaningful ways across commercial campaigns, long form copywriting, always-on content, and Cartology advertising.

Reporting into the Head of Digital Engagement and working closely with a variety of stakeholders. You’ll play a critical role in influencing how digital content is surfaced, ensuring placements not only align to customer needs but also unlock brand and commercial opportunities.

As a visionary leader, with a team of 7, you’ll be a key driver of the future of digital creative, while setting creative standards, allocating work effectively across a small team of designers and writers, and leading by example and actively hands-on participating in creative development in a fast-paced, high-volume eCommerce environment.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and actively participate in the development of best-in-class creative for the Woolworths app and website, ensuring a high standard of execution, and executing yourself across campaign, content and retail media formats.

  • Partner closely with UX/UI and product teams to influence end-to-end experience design and elevate the role of brand and creative within the digital customer experience.

  • Actively develop new creative strategies and customer journeys for our digital on-platform campaigns, supporting new retail media commercialisation opportunities and integration between retail media and e-commerce.

  • Allocate, brief and oversee creative work across a cross-functional team, balancing priorities across commercial, media and customer experience streams.

What you'll bring

  • Minimum of 8+ years experience with proven experience in a creative leadership role, ideally within eCommerce, retail or digital product environments.

  • Strong portfolio of digital creative work across platforms, with particular strength in mobile-first content and digital advertising.

  • Deep understanding of all content formats and placements within websites, mobile apps, copywriting and digital media.

  • High level of competency across the full Adobe creative suite, including motion design and video production.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a creative team while managing stakeholders of all levels.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent communication, presentation and storytelling ability.

What you’ll experience

  • A commitment to flexibility through a hybrid working model which combines time spent at a support office or hub and time working from home, supporting both in-person connection and balancing the flexibility that remote working provides for our teams.

  • High-impact role supporting our teams who enrich our communities.

  • A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.

  • A range of programs to help you prioritise and manage your wellbeing, including 24/7 access to the Sonder app.

  • A progressive and competitive leave policy that gives you more space for what matters to you.

  • Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work.
