Accessibility

We believe that everyone should have equal access to opportunities and support, and that's why we're dedicated to promoting accessibility and inclusion. We work diligently to ensure that everyone, regardless of their abilities, has equal access to opportunities and feels a sense of belonging within our organisation. We're committed to creating environments where diversity thrives, and we actively support team members in their unique journeys.

Cultural Inclusion

Our team embraces diverse cultures, fostering an enriched work environment. We celebrate important cultural days, encouraging cultural appreciation. In partnership with Community Corporate Pty Ltd, Woolworths has employed 200+ refugees since F18, aligning with our commitment to reflect the diverse communities we serve across various locations in Australia. We prioritize supporting refugees in building secure and fulfilling lives while promoting cultural representation within our teams.

First Nations

As a major Australian retailer, we embrace diversity and aim for positive impact. Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) underscores our dedication to inclusivity, focusing on Indigenous education, employment, sourcing, and health. Key roles like General Manager for Indigenous Strategy and Affairs, National Indigenous Engagement Manager, and Indigenous Employment and Team Experience Lead demonstrate our investment in building First Nations capability. We encourage open communication through Yarning Circles, striving to make a difference and create a better future for all Australians, including First Nations peoples.
