What you’ll do | Hei mahi

The Last Mile Procurement coordinator sits within the Partner Success and Commercial team and will be responsible for partner relationships and vehicle procurement. 


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing and purchasing new trucks, including vendor and vehicle selection, while ensuring safety as a top priority.
  • Managing supplier performance to guarantee timely delivery and high quality of assets.
  • Maintaining clear communication with suppliers and senior leadership to ensure transparency throughout projects.
  • Collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure timely progress of projects and alignment with company policies.
  • Reviewing and assessing current and future fleet needs, implementing feedback, and seeking areas for improvement in box body design.
  • Managing the sale of decommissioned vehicles and arranging for new chiller units when required.


What you’ll bring | Hei koha

You’ll bring in procurement experience and will manage end to end procurement of assets for Last Mile operations, from initial discovery until implementation and handover.


To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and lead the scope,  partnership & effective management of our initiatives.
  • Confident with project management and will lead positive change to achieve a customer 1st approach, role modelling an ever persistent curiosity & tenacity.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence in presenting to the wider groups.
  • Key to your success in this role will be prior experience in procurement functions and logistics, ideally in trucks.
  • You'll be able to confidently manage external business partners and service providers, using your excellent communication skills.
  • You have a  proven ability to think strategically and tactically, able to demonstrate continuous improvement.
