What you’ll do | Hei mahi
You’ll lead the integrated planning function within the eComX team, ensuring seamless alignment and execution of strategic initiatives across all digital commerce channels. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency, optimizing resource allocation, and maximizing the impact of eComX initiatives to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve Woolworths NZ's online growth objectives.
The key responsibilities include:
- Develop and Maintain Integrated Plans: Create, maintain, and communicate comprehensive integrated plans that encompass key eComX initiatives, product roadmaps, marketing campaigns, operational requirements, and technology deployments.
- Determine Performance Targets: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to define clear and measurable performance targets for integrated plans and key initiatives, including sales, gross profit (GP), customer engagement metrics, and other relevant KPIs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships and facilitate effective communication across eComX teams (e.g., product, marketing, operations, technology) and with broader Woolworths NZ stakeholders (e.g., merchandising, supply chain).
- Strategic Alignment: Translate the overarching eComX strategy and business objectives into clear, actionable plans with defined timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Resource Optimization: Work with relevant teams to ensure optimal allocation of resources (budget, personnel, technology) across eComX initiatives to maximize efficiency and ROI.
- Risk and Dependency Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies within and across eComX plans, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.

As an Integrated Planning Manager you’ll foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, translate strategic goals into actionable plans, and monitor performance to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in planning, project management, or a related function, preferably within an eCommerce or retail environment.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing integrated plans involving multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
- Proven track record of successfully driving cross-functional initiatives and delivering results.
- Experience working within an agile or iterative development environment is desirable.
- Experience in the New Zealand retail market (or a similar market) is a plus.
