What you'll do

As we embark on a significant Finance Systems Transformation journey, we are looking for an experienced Test Manager to join the team. This role will require the right candidate to define the fit-for-purpose Test Strategy and Test scenarios for our transformation journey. As an experienced Test Manager, you will be required to lead the planning, execution and monitoring of the end to end testing phase, including entry and exit criteria. You will be responsible for the resourcing, timing and activities related to the testing process, working closely with the relevant leads, such as Finance, BAU and IT stream leads.


The Program will enhance and uplift our systems to be fit-for-purpose for the wide range of businesses we operate, and future-focussed in terms of delivering insights and value for the broader Woolworths Group.


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage testing plans, including scope, schedule and resources
  • Manage SIT and UAT Test Cases development
  • Manage the execution of the testing phase (including entry and exit criteria)
  • Monitor and control each phase and steps of the testing phase
  • Identify and report testing issues and potential blockers
  • Liaising with PM to prioritise and manage Defect resolution
  • Manage all the key stakeholders and report/monitor progress on a daily basis
  • Provide Test Summary Report for each testing phase


What you’ll bring

  • Project/Program QA delivery experience in a large, multi-brand organisation, utilising technology to uplift Financial capabilities
  • End-to-end QA experience working on high value, complex projects 
  • A strong track record in leading and delivering quality outcomes
  • Experience in both functional and Non Functional QA Management capabilities
  • Demonstrated QA experience in system implementations (ideally ERPs and/or EPMs)
  • Experience delivering QA for company-wide Finance Consolidation (ideally OneStream), External Finance Reporting, and Integrated Planning.
