About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
- Oversee all Distribution Centre (DC) functions including business performance, safety, service level and financial expectations, with a huge emphasis on people and team culture.
- Manage the operation to ensure delivery in full, on time and error free and provide leadership to the operation.
- Meet safety, operational, people, customer and financial performance expectations
- Manage and monitor operational KPI’s to ensure resource planning is within budget and meets volume forecasts
- Build a high performance team promoting engagement, and fostering open communication that leads to a more motivated and effective workforce, ultimately contributing to better service and responsiveness for customers.
- Sponsor and lead change initiatives within the DC, including partnering with support functions throughout Primary Connect and other business units in the Woolworths Group

About You | Mōu
- Success in a similar operational leadership role in FMCG, DC Distribution, Store Retail, Supply Chain or Manufacturing operations
- Proven team leadership experience with genuine care and respect for people
- Engaging & supportive people leadership style that involves collaboration with a wide circle of people across the organisation
- Commercial acumen
- Planning, prioritisation and problem solving skills
- Experienced at leading and implementing change
- Knowledge of relevant OH&S and RTW legislation
- Incident investigation experience (ICAM preferred)
