What you’ll do


Reporting to the General Manager Supply Chain SA/NT/WA, your primary purpose is to oversee all DC & Transport functions including business performance, safety, service level and financial expectations, with a huge emphasis on people and team culture.


Additional responsibilities will include however not be limited to:

 

  • Ensure “Store Friendly' operations through safety, capability development, and cost reduction
  • Provide our team members with first class leadership supporting and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion
  • Sponsor change & lead continuous improvement initiatives within the PRDC, including partnering with support functions 
  • Promote people development strategies and foster growth to build a site succession plan for leadership
  • ensuring compliance with legal obligations and company policies (including enterprise agreements and Chain of Responsibility)
  • Promote and embed safety, health and environment values, policies and systems into ways working
  • Actively demonstrate and regulate the Woolworths Code of Conduct, Our Core Values and Ways of Working in daily behaviour and conduct 
  • Drive accountability within the business, ensure that the elements of Primary Connect culture are embedded at all levels


What you’ll bring


  • Proven operational leadership experience of a large Supply Chain or Manufacturing site Engaging & empowering people leadership style that is supportive and involves collaboration with a wide circle of people across the organisation, where you are required to drive and influence change.
  • Demonstrated effective change management skills
  • Experience in leading & establishing high performing front line teams
  • High level of stakeholder management, influencing and networking skills
  • Ability to deliver high quality outputs under pressure
  • Proven ability to analyse information to identify, manage and mitigate risks
  • Experience working with unions and union officials
