About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

• Lead and manage a team of up to 20 direct reports to achieve safety, quality, operational, people, customer, and financial expectations.
• Lead, motivate, and engage team members through effective people management, communication, coaching, and multi-skilling.
• Conduct staff assessments of competence against job standards and criteria
• Oversee the biosecurity controls and quality assurance measures including the upkeep of the Packhouse WQA processes and food safety standards
• Complete administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner
• Focus on the continuous improvement of systems and processes

About You | Mōu

• Experience in leading, coaching and mentoring multi cultural and large teams 
• Working knowledge of distribution centre systems like JDA, WMS
• Understanding of ER processes
• Food safety and HCAAP certification
• Experience working with a unionised workforce and building strong relationships with trade union leader
• Demonstrates logical thinking and effective problem-solving approaches
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence in using computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook
