About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
- Lead and manage a team of up to 20 direct reports to achieve safety, quality, operational, people, customer, and financial expectations.
- Lead, motivate, and engage team members through effective people management, communication, coaching, and multi-skilling.
- Conduct staff assessments of competence against job standards and criteria
- Oversee the biosecurity controls and quality assurance measures including the upkeep of the Packhouse WQA processes and food safety standards
- Complete administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner
- Focus on the continuous improvement of systems and processes
About You | Mōu
- Experience in leading, coaching and mentoring multi cultural and large teams
- Working knowledge of distribution centre systems like JDA, WMS
- Understanding of ER processes
- Food safety and HCAAP certification
- Experience working with a unionised workforce and building strong relationships with trade union leader
- Demonstrates logical thinking and effective problem-solving approaches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in using computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook
