The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for a skilled Senior Front End Engineer to join our cross-functional engineering squad. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, performant, and user-friendly web applications while providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. You will contribute to frontend architecture decisions, drive best practices adoption, and play a key role in delivering features that enhance user experience
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain efficient, maintainable, high-quality software.
- Ensure all code is well-tested (unit, integration) and adheres to team standards.
- Review code and test cases to ensure they meet requirements and best practices.
- Provide constructive feedback on code and test case quality.
- Collaborate on high-level designs for larger projects.
- Validate technical designs and estimates.
- Merge code, resolve conflicts, and deploy updates. Troubleshoot production problems and manage bug tickets. Proactively monitor system health and address issues.
- Work with stakeholders to define and estimate new epics and user stories.
- Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers.
- Conduct technical interviews.
What you’ll bring
- At least 5+ years of experience in web applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast moving, agile development environment
- Deep expertise in modern frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, Typescript, and frameworks like React
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture patterns and best practices, including accessibility, security and performance
- Experience with build tools, version control systems, and testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with backend technologies and APIs for integration.
