The Opportunity

The RT3 Technical Governance Lead role is pivotal in enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of Woolworths' workforce management. This role involves leading technical governance, standardizing and simplifying labour modeling, and ensuring the quality of UKG input data and the LaborPro solution. Your contributions will directly support continuous improvement, process optimization, and decreased dependence on external vendors.

 

What you’ll do

Reporting to the National Labour Model Development Manager , you will establish and lead governance for labour standards changes and workflows within the RT3 solution, leveraging Jira change management to maintain clear visibility and control.

  • Own the training, development and upskilling of Woolworths’ team members in LaborPro, and a standardised approach to labour standards modelling.
  • Empower and support the Labour Standards Team in managing Labour Profiling capabilities and quality assurance processes for AU Supermarkets.
  • Act as a highly valued SME across multiple functional teams, aligning initiatives that develop, support and continuously improve the overall RT3 Labour Model solution. 
  • Drive the development and support the execution of a continuous improvement roadmap, aimed at optimising internal capabilities and reducing dependence on external vendors.
  • Partner with teams external to the RT3 tribe that support the development and simplification of the labour standards model.
  • Guide and facilitate disciplined ways of working to ensure timelines are met, stakeholders are engaged appropriately and processes are efficient and cost effective.

 

What you’ll bring

Overall, you will have extensive experience in workforce management within a large retail setting, along with a strong understanding of developing engineered labour standards.

This role necessitates engaging with and influencing various stakeholders; therefore, exceptional communication and facilitation skills are crucial.

  • Be trained in at least one engineered labour standards technique e.g. Maynard’s Operation Sequence Technique (MOST).
  • Proven success in managing and interpreting large complex sets of data through a variety of different data platforms.
  • Proven success in developing and delivering change and communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathetic and a good listener
  • Well developed skills in relation to managing various concurrent projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in plain language
  • Ability to cross collaborate with other essential partners both internally and external to the organisation
