What you’ll do

  • Design and lead best-in-class PMO governance structures, steering frameworks, and executive reporting suites for the entire program portfolio, including chairing key governance forums.
  • Offer clear strategic direction to the PMO team, ensuring alignment with F26 W360 priorities and Woolworths Group risk management principles.
  • Oversee the performance and development of a team of 5 direct reports nurturing a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
  • Guide the design and rollout of executive reporting suites, dashboards, and scorecards that provide meaningful, data-driven insights for senior leadership decision-making.
  • Partner with the 360 Leadership team and various business stakeholders to ensure PMO support and resolve cross-functional barriers to portfolio planning readiness, leading continuous improvement in "ways of working.
  • Accountable for personal compliance with internal company policies, procedures, codes (e.g., Code of Conduct), and all applicable external laws and regulations. Ensure identified hazards are actioned.
  • You will be a key partner to the 360 Leadership team, aligning PMO resources with strategic priorities and fostering continuous improvement in our ways of working to deliver maximum value.


What you'll bring 

  • Extensive Experience in senior PMO/portfolio management roles with demonstrated governance expertise
  • A strong track record of managing governance for large portfolios,
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring PMO teams, and ideally, establishing PMO functions within large, complex organisations.
  • Exceptional influencing skills, with a proven history of chairing steering committees and influencing at the executive level.
  • A solid background in risk management, forecasting, and developing executive reporting suites.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities and data visualisation expertise are highly valued.
  • The ability to think strategically, translate vision into actionable frameworks, and lead change management efforts to embed new processes and tools.
  • Essential experience with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
