Welcome to the Food eCom Team

The Food eCom team is a broad and diverse business unit that sits at the centre of the eComX platform. Our team foster a culture of support, care, and autonomy. The predominant role that Food eCom plays is in bringing to life the AUFood strategy for our customers through digital channels. This brings with it requirements for strong communication within the team and with key stakeholders, partnering and sharing via events, understanding and actioning team feedback, and linking in with various processes and cadences across the group. 


What you’ll do

The Digital Specialist - Trade Planning plays a crucial role in supporting our Digital Customer & Trade Plan with the aim of accelerating sales and driving basket spend and items per basket within the Food eCom channel.

You will:

  • Support across all cadences to develop & deliver the Digital Customer & Trade Plan in partnership with the Senior Digital Trade Planning Manager 

  • Own the management & tracking of all key documentation & calendars 

  • Support in the creation & maintenance of reporting for all activity within the Customer & Trade Plan, in partnership with the COE. Including managing weekly reviews of all TP activity performance, suggested insights etc.

  • Drive the end-to-end retrospective reviews for all major Trade Plan activity

  • Partner with Marketing & Merchandising to  on  the high level planning and digital strategy for all major trading Events.. 


What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years experience and expertise in understanding eCommerce retailing or Groceries retailing

  • Comprehensive understanding of Digital Merchandising capabilities

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Proven ability to work calmly to tight timelines 

  • Effective Stakeholder management 

  • Proficiency in Google suite - particularly slides and sheets
