The Opportunity
Join our dynamic Digital Media Agency Tribe and become a pivotal player in shaping customer communications across a diverse portfolio of Woolworths Group brands. You'll also be instrumental in unlocking advertising opportunities for our valued suppliers.
What you’ll do
As a key member of our digital media team, you'll be the go-to expert, ensuring our feed-based advertising media is delivered flawlessly. You'll collaborate with our Search, Social, and Programmatic teams, and shine as a subject matter expert in Products Up and the Google Marketing Platform tech stack (think GA360, SA360, and DV360)! You will also work closely with our GA360 agency partner and vendors Ready to make some media magic happen?
Deliverables include:
- Spearheading data initiatives, platform integrations, and martech.
- Product feed management and feed optimisations based on the latest requirements to improve performance.
- Manage BAU feed projects, troubleshoot impacted items (e.g., monitor and troubleshoot disapproved products in Google Merchant Center and Commerce catalogues in Social platforms), and provide SME support for platform delivery and maintenance.
- Research and present new concepts to drive platform and digital channel efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Lead Platforms Specialist to create end-to-end execution processes, including re-use of base elements for timely market response.
- Strive for quality execution (QA outcomes) of feed based campaigns across digital media channels.
- Instigate test and learn programs to trial best practices and leading-edge campaigns and tactics to drive conversion.
- Work closely with all stakeholders to understand objectives and priorities for development activities, and ensure all activity complies with internal and external regulatory requirements
What You’ll Bring
You’ll have +4 years of experience in digital and/or direct marketing, either in an agency or in-house environment. Importantly, you will love to “get your geek on” and work with cutting edge and emerging technologies.
You' ll also have
- Expertise in digital marketing platforms, including Google Ads, SA360, CM360, and DV360.
- Troubleshooting experience and technical integration of data and platforms.
- Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools like GA4, Looker Studio, and Tableau.
- Strong skills in data manipulation and analysis using Google Sheets/Excel.
- Deep understanding of digital advertising principles, including Paid Search, Social Media, and programmatic media buying.
- Experience with Google Merchant Center and product feeds, with a focus on optimization.
- Familiarity with complex data sets and customer databases, including segmentation, clustering, and predictive modeling.:
- Proven problem-solver with a strong analytical ability and technical proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with feed-based performance advertising across various platforms (GMC, Meta Catalogue, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat).
- Experience in mobile, email, and/or social advertising.
- Well-developed commercial acumen with a track record of creating successful business cases and activity plans.
- Google Cloud Platform and/or BigQuery experience
