What you’ll do 

Join the Design Marketing team in Woolworths Food Company as our Account Manager (internally titled Design Specialist) supporting on a unique project in this 2-year contract. Support, develop and implement the Packaging Design Guidelines across Woolworths Own Brand & act as brand guardian responsible for ensuring we deliver the best possible packaging design that resonates with our customers. Reporting to the Senior Design Specialist you will lead the creative design process from brief development to design concept & photography to artwork dispatch - on brand and to time.

  • Champion packaging design excellence through our creative partners, upholding brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across all formats

  • Support the end-to-end design process, from concept to final artwork, with your exceptional attention to detail and executional drive

  • Lead and collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to deliver aesthetically and technically sound design solutions

  • Elevate food photography and styling, providing expert feedback to create compelling visual content

  • Actively manage multiple projects, review proofs, and present solutions to stakeholders for sign-off

  • Advocate for the customer in every design decision and continuously improve design processes


What you’ll bring

  • 1+ year of experience in account partnership, brand partnership or similar (client or agency side).

  • 1+ year of experience within packaging design to best support and articulate on creatives provided by agencies.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects  within a large transformation project

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to effectively partner with a blend of internal and external stakeholders

  • Qualifications in Design, Project Management, Marketing, Business or Commerce
