What you'll do

As an Inclusion and Belonging Partner, reporting to the Head of Inclusion, you will play a critical role in realising our renewed ambition and operationalising a multi-year inclusion strategy. We’re focused on executing our plans to embed sustainable change, uplifting the inclusive experience of our teams and accelerating our efforts in the areas of greatest impact. This role will be highly integrated into our agile model, bringing inclusion expertise to meet the emerging needs of our team and shifting business context. You’ll work cross-functionally, and partner directly with our business to deliver measurable, high-impact results that matter most. 


Leveraging your D&I expertise, you will also be responsible for creating business value and building organisational capability by integrating leading practice with our core objectives to actively remove barriers to inclusion and enhance belonging for all. Working across all pillars of inclusion (First Nations, Disability, Cultural, Gender, LGBTQ+) you will enable intersectional outcomes and foster alignment across stakeholder groups, engaging actively with our valued team member networks, business leaders and external partners for optimal results. This role offers an unmatched opportunity to drive meaningful change at scale, in a collaborative, high performing inclusion partnering team. At times, travel will required to meet business needs

  • Partner with senior leaders to integrate DEI into business strategy and goals, ensuring alignment with group priorities for maximum impact

  • Lead the execution of measurable inclusion outcomes that enhance the team member experience across key lifecycle moments.

  • Analyse data and metrics to measure the influence of DEI initiatives on key business outcomes, identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Implement data-informed strategies to elevate belonging for all, with a focus on closing gaps for underrepresented groups

  • Partner with the People Team to align leaders on inclusion strategic objectives, building their capability and driving accountability for DEI impact.

  • Build relationships with executive sponsors and team networks to amplify the voices of marginalised groups, ensuring priorities are aligned with lived experience.

  • Use data to review systems and policies for equity, mitigate risk, and provide timely and accurate information for all internal and external reporting obligations.



What you'll bring

  • A background in HR or a related field with demonstrated experience delivering measurable D&I outcomes in a large, complex organisation

  • At least 3-5 years of experience partnering with executive leaders on D&I matters, representing the organisation with key industry and peak bodies

  • Problem solving, critical thinking and an adaptive mindset. You’ll thrive in a collaborative team-focused environment, preferably with agile experience 

  • Ability to translate D&I strategy into actionable plans with a commercial mindset

  • Skilled in analysing and interpreting data to tell a compelling story, with an understanding of AI tools and how to leverage data to optimise outcomes

  • Proven program management experience, managing complex D&I initiatives, supported by exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills

  • A champion for marginalised groups who can translate lived experience and feedback into business requirements and key focus areas

  • Current DEI expertise and knowledge of legislative landscape across multiple pillars of inclusion
