What You'll Do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy a suite of 20+ internal web applications. You'll be a key player in shaping our engineering culture by:

  • Building for the future: Creating reusable code and designing sustainable, long-term maintenance processes.

  • Owning the full lifecycle: Not just building applications, but also establishing the best-practice frameworks for how we deploy them to the cloud.

  • Collaborating and mentoring: Working with stakeholders to capture requirements and coaching other team members to uplift their skills.

  • Driving our roadmap: Partnering with Engineering Managers and Architects to define technical strategy and align on patterns.


What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced engineer who is passionate about writing clean code and knows how to get it into production. You should be a strong developer who is comfortable with a DevOps mindset.

Core Skills We Need:

  • Expert Developer: 5+ years of industry experience building scalable back-end services using Node.js, Python, Javascript, or Typescript.

  • Cloud & Deployment Expert: Strong hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure welcome). You must be proficient with CI/CD practices, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Docker), and automated testing.

  • API & Data Pro: Expertise in designing and building RESTful APIs, with strong proficiency in both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.


Bonus Points (Nice to Have):

  • Familiarity with front-end tech (React, Angular).

  • Experience with data integration pipelines (ETL/ELT).

  • Knowledge of application security (OAuth 2.0, OWASP Top 10).
