We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead a mission-critical, large-scale website redesign and re-platform. This is a chance to rebuild and redefine Woolworths NZ’s digital foundation, while leading a team through a significant transformation.
You’ll lead and deliver the product strategy for Woolworths NZ’s future ecommerce website to deliver exceptional value for our customers and business.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading product strategy: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our ecommerce website redesign and migration. You’ll be accountable for defining the strategy and delivering a successful customer launch. Once it’s live, you’ll pivot to identifying innovation opportunities that grow our ecommerce business and expand omnichannel capabilities.
- Providing leadership: Inspire and motivate a talented team towards a clear product vision. You’ll also collaborate with other product leaders to embed great product practices.
- Championing customers: Drive improvements in customer and team experience and ensure our new website truly serves their needs.
- Driving business outcomes: Deeply understand the business and competitive landscape, ensuring that what gets built is both valuable and viable
- Building strong relationships: Collaborate with other product teams, third-party vendors, and peers in Australia to ensure experience and technical alignment.

We're looking for demonstrated experience of:
- Product management: 10+ years of experience leading product strategies for digital products. Experience working on ecommerce websites is a must.
- Cross-functional leadership: Aligning diverse stakeholders (including engineering, design, marketing, and executives) in a constructive and collaborative way.
- Strong communication: The ability to bring people along on the journey by clearly communicating direction, priorities, and progress.
- Strategic thinking: You can define a compelling product vision in line with business strategy and then break it down into an executable roadmap.
- Problem solving: The ability to navigate complex problems and simplify complexity in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Data-driven decision making: Using data and insights to make informed decisions and influence others to achieve the best outcomes for our business and customers.
- Managing risk: Using sound judgement to evaluate risks and dependencies in a high-stakes environment.
