What you’ll do
Oversee the delivery of Refrigeration construction , Capex, stay-in-business, capital and sustainability projects, and other strategic refrigeration investments nationally.
Manage and lead a team of Refrigeration Project Managers to ensure best in class delivery outcomes for all projects
Assist with managing contractors and procuring capital and installation materials to align with project timelines in line with tendered project budgets
You will promote compliance with all Woolworths safety policies and procedures for both the team and service providers
Assist with financial management and budgeting, including monthly progress claims, forecasting, and project closure.
Build and maintain strong relationships with the Woolworths Construction team and the wider W360 group to ensure successful project delivery
Influencing decision-making: Providing expert advice and recommendations to senior management on all aspects of installation projects.
You will provide expert guidance to ensure projects are delivered on budget and on time, meeting high quality standards, stakeholder objectives and high levels of team productivity
What you'll bring
You’ll be an exceptional individual with a proven track record of leading large teams to achieve extraordinary outcomes
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the refrigeration maintenance and engineering industry, with a strong preference for experience in supermarket refrigeration.
A solid understanding of engineering systems, including design, installation, and maintenance, as well as commercial refrigeration
The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and under pressure to meet deadlines.
Strong consultation, negotiation, and presentation skills.
