The Opportunity

We're looking for an exceptional Group Manager to join our team and make a real impact across the 12 stores in the lower South Island region.

As a Group Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, driving customer satisfaction, driving compliance and fostering high-performing teams. If you're passionate about leadership, strategic thinking, and achieving outstanding results, we want to hear from you!


What you’ll do | Hei mahi

  • Customer Centric: Know your customer, deliver for them, represent the brand, understand the community, and ensure excellent customer offers.

  • Problem Solver: Coach, develop and support Store Managers and Functional Leaders, and be an early adopter of new tools.

  • Operational Performance: Be responsible for the performance of the Group, understand its competitor, lead & develop business acumen & delivery, deliver sales, profit & cost targets, and create a high-performance environment.

  • Landing Strategy: Deliver strategy for the Zone, partner with peers to deliver initiatives, build strong connections with all Store Managers in Group, and network across the business to grow.

  • Safety Leadership: Build a culture of safety & wellbeing and be a safety leader.

  • Ownership & Management of Change: Facilitate & lead change, be a change advocate & early adopter, deploy & embed change, and understand the change curve.

  • People Performance: Build succession plans, identify future talent, put in place development opportunities, and develop Store Managers.

  • Verification: Lead compliance, own knowledge & tools, verify retail fundamentals, and manage risks.

  • Proven leadership experience in a retail or similar environment.

  • Strong strategic and operational management skills.

  • A passion for customer service and team development.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • A proactive and adaptable approach to change.
