What will I be doing?
As Head of - Secured Infrastructure your role encompasses a multitude of critical responsibilities: Primarily, you are responsible for the strategy, implementation and management of the Cloud, Infrastructure and Application security services. This involves developing a cohesive plan that aligns with our broader cyber objectives and continuously enhancing the service to ensure the comprehensive defense of our cloud and infrastructure assets. Additionally, you have the accountability of overseeing and optimising the operational activities and processes associated with the Cloud, Infrastructure and Application security services.
In addition you are entrusted with the task of providing strategic leadership & visionary guidance as the driving force behind securing our technology infrastructure across the Group. This involves spearheading the establishment and continual maintenance of robust capabilities aimed at proactively identifying vulnerabilities and risks to infrastructure across the group and defining remediation plans and ensuring adherence to security controls and standards across Digital, Core Technology and OT.
Given the scope of this role, you will collaborate closely with senior executives throughout the Group, including the Group Executive Committee (CEO and direct reports) and heads of technology across various departments.
By undertaking this role, you will assume a crucial position in safeguarding our technology assets, maintaining compliance with our cyber security standards. Your contributions will play a vital role in strengthening the Group’s resilience against constantly evolving cyber threats while simultaneously fostering trust and confidence among our senior executive leaders.
This role is part of the Cyber Security Leadership Team reporting to the GM - Security Services
What will I bring?
Experience with a large multinational and/or a consulting organisation known for its knowledge and experience in world-class business with at least 8+ years experience in engineering, technical design and architecture role.
5+ years of experience in Cyber Security covering multiple security domains
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their associated security controls
Robust comprehension of the fundamental Cyber Security technologies
Demonstrated expertise in vulnerability detection and management
Experience working with Executive Leadership and managing multiple diverse teams
Demonstrated leadership with strategic influencing skills, strong decision making, negotiating and conflict resolution skills, effective relationship building skills and strong analytical and problem solving skills
