The Opportunity
We're seeking a Sales Planning Analyst who can be a true business partner. You'll go beyond simply crunching numbers, using your expertise to interpret and supervise system-generated forecasts, ensuring they accurately reflect customer behavior and directly support our commercial and operational objectives. Acting as the essential bridge between advanced forecasting systems and key partners, you will transform category insights into tangible replenishment outcomes, translating complex data into clear, actionable business intelligence that delivers maximum value across the organisation.
What you’ll do
- Ensure sales forecasts are accurately predicting the purchasing behaviour of customers which will deliver business expectations
- Facilitate value-add collaboration sessions with commercial and supply partners to improve supply chain performance
- Present replenishment forecasting outputs to key stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights
- Capture and disseminate key business intelligence to inform replenishment strategies and improve decision-making
- Deliver high-quality insights from data analysis to guide strategic planning and operational decisions
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
What you’ll bring
- A strong understanding of customer behaviour & retail, supply chain or FMCG or have a very keen interest or aptitude to learn
- Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders & communicate complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated success in influencing stakeholders and achieving strategic business outcomes across various teams.
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills: capability to interpret data, identify trends, translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Commercial Acumen: understanding of retail operations, supply chain dynamics and commercial drivers of a buying team
- Stakeholder Management: demonstrated ability to manage expectations, navigate competing priorities and foster positive working relationships across multiple departments
- Presentation Skills: confidence in presenting findings and recommendations to groups
- Ability to work in an incredibly fast-paced and autonomous environment and comfortably manage competing priorities
