What you'll do

As our Payroll Delivery Officer, you will provide accurate, timely, and high-quality payroll services to our team across Woolworths Group. This role involves processing the payroll function, working across our systems, and actively partnering with stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for service improvement. 

• Support day-to-day payroll services and completion of pay cycles, including terminations and overpayments, reconciliations, and ad hoc payments.

• Ensure adherence to policy and legislative requirements, while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of master data.

• Resolve and manage your own case load of internal team and external vendor pay queries.

• Support in identifying opportunities for continuous service improvement by participating in testing, through the payroll systems to process efficiency.

• Be comfortable working a rotating late Monday night to support and enable payrun for the national business.

What you'll bring

• Sound experience and comfort using SAP, Salesforce, SuccessFactors, Kronos & the Microsoft & Google suites.

• 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, maintaining accuracy and timely delivery.

• Alignment and knowledge of employment legislation, standards and EAs with demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying them.

• Sound time management and comfort in task-switching within multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

• Strong communication skills & computer literacy, able to effectively engage with peers and stakeholders.
