What You'll Do


  • You will create best-in-class product prototypes for high-priority Quality First sessions 
  • Directly support Innovation Chefs on major strategic initiatives, including Christmas, Salads, Seafood, and Fresh Food Prepared (FFP).
  • Develop, create, and prototype new recipes and retail-ready products for our category plans (NPD/EPD).
  • Research and present current and future food trends to key stakeholders to influence our Own Brand portfolio.
  • Write engaging Own Brand recipes for Bunch and back-of-pack consumer communication.
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager with daily operations and ensure strict Food Hygiene and Safety standards are maintained.
  • Support and execute high-impact internal showcases for strategic ranges (FFP, Christmas, Trade Shows) and leadership functions.
  • Help build our food culture by supporting and presenting educational workshops (e.g., Flavour Pairing).


What You'll Bring


  • Formal Culinary Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in recipe development, creation, and accurate product prototyping.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations compliance.
  • Ability to translate complex culinary concepts into clear, concise consumer recipes and instructions.
  • Analytical acumen to interpret food trends and influence strategic decisions.
  • Excellent skills for presenting industry knowledge and supporting educational workshops for stakeholders.
  • Team-first attitude and a clear desire to grow into senior developer, quality, or sensory roles.
