What you’ll do | Hei mahi
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for maintaining an accurate view of supply chain constraints and volume plans to manage Distribution Center capacity and optimize stock flow for the WWNZ Food and Liquor network.
Specifically, the role will see you:
- Model demand requirements against network constraints to identify opportunities and bottlenecks.
- Manage the planned allocation of stock into the network, ensuring orders can be scheduled within Distribution Center (DC) constraints.
- Proactively intervene on expected capacity breaches by manipulating stock flow, range moves, or purchasing behavior.
- Work independently to validate and analyze data, build analytical models, and recommend performance improvements.
- Conduct analysis of the DC range and project manage key network range changes for maximum efficiency.

You will combine robust analytical and data modeling capabilities, specifically in Excel and supply chain principles, with effective project management skills. This combination is essential for implementing recommendations and clearly communicating intricate findings to a diverse group of stakeholders.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Proven ability to model "what-if" scenarios, apply supply chain principles, and identify business opportunities.
- Strong technical skills, particularly in Excel and Google Suite, with desirable experience in BigQuery/SQL for data analysis.
- Ability to project manage the implementation of recommendations, including clear status reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to tailor and present complex information succinctly to different audiences.
- Capability to navigate uncertainty, troubleshoot issues, think critically, and maintain a proactive "can do" attitude.
