The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to business partner with the 360 team members to support the successful deployment of specific group wide projects and/ or programs as nominated by the Finance and 360 leadership team. The role is wide and varied and aims to unlock key strategic initiatives of both Woolworth 360 and the wider Group as they evolve across our business. Partnering with key stakeholders from within Woolworth 360 and the wider business (including but not limited to Commercial, Operations, Property and Woolies X) the role will help bring to life initiatives in an agile way ensuring that the balance between financial, operational and strategic goals are all met.
What you’ll do
- Lead end-to-end business casing of strategic projects, including scenario modelling and presenting assumptions to senior stakeholders.
- Develop and manage annual balance program to support eCom investments initiatives, perform post-implementation review of eCom investments to deliver actionable insights and drive continuous improvement. .
- Drive cross-functional alignment on analysis, influencing stakeholders, and problem-solving across different business units.
- Manage the capital forecast and actualisation process, ensuring project costs and financial governance are maintained.
- Navigate complex, ambiguous problems with no set framework, making and validating necessary assumptions.
- Business partner with broader finance teams and business stakeholders, providing clear, concise, and insightful updates, presentations, and reports, to drive aligned and successful business outcomes.
What you’ll bring
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with CA / CPA Qualification preferred
- Strong data analysis skills, storyboarding and presentation skills
- Strong modelling and forecasting skills
- Strong influence and communication skills - able to communicate effectively key messages with stakeholders, have an adaptive style and influence outcomes.
- Ability to prioritise team efforts to support business requirements
- Experience using financial systems in a commercial environment
